Meanderings in Argentina: Formosa Fun for All.

July 13, 2012

The best ever.

We stopped at several playgrounds throughout the duration of our Argentina roadtrip to let the young ‘uns run out their vast amounts of energy. Some parks were sparsely equipped and rather antiquated, others were beautifully shrouded in rustling greenery, others still more fancy with bronze horse monuments and skate bowls.

One in particular though stood out to me as uniquely Latin American and uniquely…awesome. Not only was there a mini stone castle, exercise equipment for adults, a CAUTION: HIGH VOLTAGE sign next to the slide, and random creepy men smoking pot, there were also Big Mama swings dangling from the swing set. Like a full on lawn chair attached to suspended metals chains and a La-Z-Boy recliner minus the cushions also hanging tantalizingly. Amazing.

And also a human tether-ball pole…
